DUBAI, UAE -- SeaBird Exploration Ltd. has agreed to sell the Raven Explorer for $17 million.
The vessel was purchased with the intention to convert it to a shallow-water 2D/3D vessel, but modeling could not confirm the vessel's suitability for conversion to a state-of-the-art seismic vessel, SeaBird says.
Delivery is expected in the first half of September.
