Gaz de France has awarded Wavefield Inseis a letter of intent for a 3D seismic survey in the North Tampen area of the North Sea.

BERGEN, Norway --Gaz de France has awarded Wavefield Inseis a letter of intent for a 3D seismic survey in the North Tampen area of the North Sea.
The one-month survey, due to start in June, will cover 380 sq km (236 sq mi) over blocks 34/6 and 35/4. Wavefield will deploy a four-streamer (or more) vessel for the work.
This will be the first occasion the two companies have worked together, and also Gaz de France's first commissioned work of any kind for this acreage.
