OSLO, Norway -- Electromagnetic Geoservices has launched a multi-client 3D survey campaign ahead of the 21st licensing round in Norway. The electromagnetic campaign is a continuation of the 2008 Barents Sea project, which was the world's first large-scale, multi-client 3D EM survey.

“The 3D EM program will reveal valuable information related to the prospectivity of the survey areas,” says Carl Hutchins, EMGS president multi-client group. “This will give bidders a competitive advantage during the licensing round, and will help to target their exploration resources more effectively.”
