Namibia extends EnerGulf exploration permit

Namibia has renewed for two years EnerGulf Resources Inc.’s exploration license covering offshore block 1711 in the Namibe basin off the northern coast near the Angola border.

HOUSTON – Namibia has renewed for two years EnerGulf Resources Inc.’s exploration license covering offshore block 1711 in the Namibe basin off the northern coast near the Angola border.

EnerGulf says two prospects have been identified on the 2.2 million acre (893,100 ha) block.

Partners in block 1711 are NACOR Investments Ltd., 70%; EnerGulf Resources, 10%; PetroSA, 10%; Namcor, 7%; and Kunene Energy, 3%.
