TRONDHEIM, Norway -- An unnamed major oil company has contracted Electromagnetic Geoservices for a 3D shallow-water survey offshore Malaysia.

Work on the $2.5 million-plus contract, involving use of electromagnetic techniques, is under way using the vessel BOA Galatea.
