OMEL contracts 3D seismic for offshore Nigeria

OMEL Exploration and Production Nigeria Ltd. has contracted Polarcus Ltd. with partner Sonar Ltd. to acquire 530 sq km (205 sq mi) of 3D seismic data over OPL279 offshore Nigeria.

DUBAI, UAE – OMEL Exploration and Production Nigeria Ltd. has contracted Polarcus Ltd. with partner Sonar Ltd. to acquire 530 sq km (205 sq mi) of 3D seismic data over OPL279 offshore Nigeria. Polarcus says it will use the Polarcus Naila and that work will begin in October 2010.
