ABERDEEN, UK -- Unnamed India-based clients have awarded Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping (OHM) two contracts totaling $6 million for marine electromagnetic surveys using the vessel OHM Leader.

The first survey is scheduled to begin in April.

“This will be the first deployment in India for OHM’s unique Well Integration with Seismic and Electromagnetics (WISE) product, which integrates CSEM with a range of other geophysical data,” says Richard Cooper, CEO of Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping. “We are seeing renewed interest in using CSEM for both exploration and exploitation applications.”
