LONDON -- MedOil Plc. has begun interpreting data following a 3D seismic survey of the Louza Permit offshore Tunisia.
Managed by TGS-NOPEC, the survey covered more than 600 sq km, concentrating on the M'Sela oil discovery and nearby prospects. Aim of the survey was to map M'Sela-1's productive Abiod formation and also the Cenomanian Isis reservoir in order to target further drilling.
"We are cautiously optimistic that the results of the 3D seismic survey will confirm the upside potential of one of the un-drilled structures adjacent to oil discovery M'Sela-1," says David Thomas, CEO of MedOil.
