Petrobras contracts seismic work off Libya

LYSANKER, Norway -- Petrobras has commissioned Wavefield Inseis to conduct a 3D seismic survey in the Mediterranean Sea off Libya starting in 1Q 2007.

In block 18 of Pelagian basin, the 850 sq km (328 sq mi) survey will be done by M/VGeowave Commander which has a 10 streamer capacity.
