Reliance Industries Ltd. has completed 3D seismic studies in block KG-DWN-98/1, Krishna Godavari basin, India.

The company finished shooting 2,790-sq km and is integrating that with prior seismic information. It them will proceed with Phas II.

Reliance sought and was granted a 24-month extension in the block, all of which will be set off from the Phase-II exploration period. Reliance says it has invested $34 million for meeting the minimum work program (MWP) of Phase-I in the deep water block.
