Offshore staff

RIO de JANEIRO, Brazil -- Petrobras Energia, Energia Argentina, and Repsol YPF have agreed to form a consortium to explore and develop oil and natural gas in deepwaters of the Argentinean continental shelf.

Petrobras will be operator wtih 35%, Enarsa will take 35% and YPF will hold 30% of the area 250 km off Mar del Plata in the province of Buenos Aires. Water depths range from 200 m to 3,000 m.
