BRISBANE, Australia -- RWE Dea AG, as operator, has contracted Fugro to acquire 700 km of 2D seismic over blocks 4 and 5, area 3, offshore Malta.
Using theGeo Atlantic, the survey is to include magnetic and gravimetric data.
RWE farmed into Global Petroleum Ltd.'s interest in the exploration agreement covering the area. If a PSC is signed and RWE drills a well, it will earn up to 70% of the interest.
