DUBLIN, Ireland -- Acquisition of more than 1,500 km of 2D long-offset seismic data over Dunquin Prospect, offshore Ireland, is complete, says Providence Resources Plc.
The data was licensed from Fugro Data Surveys AG and will be processed for interpretation and integration with existing data.
"This is another important milestone for Providence and its partners, ExxonMobil (ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Ireland Offshore Ltd.) ,and Sosina (Sosina Exploration Ltd.). The results of the processing of this seismic program will allow the partners to better define the future work programme on the Dunquin Prospect," says Tony O'Reilly Jr., chief executive of Providence Resources.
