Carnarvon concludes NW Shelf review

Carnarvon Petroleum has completed re-processing of 550 sq km (212 sq mi) of existing seismic over permit WA 399 P on Australia’s Offshore North West Shelf.

PERTH -- Carnarvon Petroleum has completed re-processing of 550 sq km (212 sq mi) of existing seismic over permit WA 399 P on Australia’s Offshore North West Shelf.

The company and its partner Rialto Energy were awarded the license in May. The acreage is located between the Pyrenees and Macedon oil and gas fields and the Leatherback oil accumulation.

The current work program involves acquisition of 315 km (196 mi) of new 2D data. Carnarvon is investigating vessel availability and prices.
