DOHA, QATAR -- Saudi Aramco has awarded BGP a contract for seismic survey projects in Saudi Arabia.
S53, a 3D TZ project, will begin this month and is expected to last approximately two years. The prospect is covered by shoals and shallow water; it crosses the Manifa oilfield and several urban districts.
S64, a 2D TZ project, is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks and is expected to last approximately 15 months. The prospect is in a water depth of 1,700 m (5,577 ft) and covers shallow water, shoals, islands, and desert.
