PERTH, Australia -- On Dec. 14, Otto Energy is scheduled to begin a 590-sq km (228-sq mi) 3D seismic data acquisition in SC55 in the south west Palawan basin, offshore the Philippines.

The program is designed to mature the Hawkeye structure and several leads in the license area, the company says.

Otto has an 85% working interest in SC55 and is the operator. The seismic acquisition will satisfy the company’s commitments for the block’s current exploration subphase.
