M/V Geowave Voyager completes Carnarvon basin 3D survey

OSLO, Norway -- Searcher Seismic and CGGVeritas have completed the Foxhound non-exclusive 3D seismic survey, which cover six active exploration permits and one area of vacant acreage in the Northern Carnarvon basin.

The newly commissioned M/V Geowave Voyager completed the 3,454-sq-km (1,334-sq-mi) acquisition using 10 streamers. Data is now being processed at CGGVeritas’s Perth facility.

A fast-track cube is scheduled for delivery in October; the final processed cube is due in February 2010.
