OSLO -- Total E&P Norge has awarded Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) a contract to provide 3D EM data acquisition and processing services for the Frigg field in the North Sea. The survey will be conducted in September using the purpose-built 3D EM vessel BOA Thalassa.
The Clearplay Evaluate 3D EM data will be acquired over a 100-sq km (39-sq mi) area in water depths of approximately 100 m (328 ft) using densely sampled, wide-azimuth 3D EM grids.
