ASKER, Norway – TGS has started acquisition of a 3D multi-client survey west of Shetland.
The Erlend West 2012 (EW12) survey will extend more than 1,520 sq km (587 sq mi) in Quads 208 and 217 of the Faroe Shetland basin.
According to TGS, it is the first 3D survey mounted in this northern area and covers the westernmost margin of the Erlend basin.
TheM/V Polar Duchess is acquiring the data. A fasttrack data volume should be available for delivery and licensing bids during 1Q 2013.
