PGS completes survey off Australia

MELBOURNE, Australia –PGS Australia has completed a 3D seismic survey for MEO Australia Ltd. at the Blackwood discovery in NT/P68 off Darwin using the M/V Orient Explorer.
The 384 sq km (142 mi) of data will be processed by PGS in Perth to correct for near surface reefs and channels for better depth conversion, mapping, and resource estimation.
The discovery well Blackwood-1 hit 49 m (161 ft) of gross gas pay.
