Schlumberger debuts Carbonate Advisor

EDINBURGH, UK –Schlumberger has released its new Carbonate Advisor petrophysics and productivity analysis service.
The service is a systematic analytical framework designed to give comprehensive petrophysical evaluation of carbonate rocks, Schlumberger says. The system integrates information from magnetic resonance, elemental capture spectroscopy, logs, and core data to give a single carbonate reservoir evaluation.
Carbonate Advisor has been tested against core analysis data for determination of relative permeability and water saturation.
