SAN ANTONIO, Texas --Paradigm has released a new edition of GeoSec 2D at the AAPG annual meeting. Version 5.2 improves accuracy and minimizes risk using increased interoperability, new structural tools, and enhanced usability, Paradigm said.

The Geo Sec 2D software suite is a structural analysis tool for defining subsurface geometry and structural history to create models of the structural features.

Paradigm GeoSec 2D Version 5.2 becomes compatible with the Epos database and infrastructure, providing interoperability and full integration between Paradigm products as well as connectivity to third-party databases. Offering real-time data transfer, the application allows users to access and exchange information for quick kinematic validation of seismic interpretations, Paradigm said.
