ODIM lands largest-ever seismic handling system order

ODIM has signed a NOK 425 million ($83.9 million) contract for automated handling systems for six new 3D seismic survey vessels plus options for two more vessels.

HAREID, Norway –ODIM has signed a NOK 425 million ($83.9 million) contract for automated handling systems for six new 3D seismic survey vessels plus options for two more vessels. Delivery is scheduled to begin next year. The customer was not named.

"This is the largest order we've ever won," says Idar Hatløy, vice president for seismic at ODIM. "It confirms our strong position in the market for automated handling solutions for seismic survey vessels, a segment where we're still seeing good activity."
