LONDON -- Global Marine Energy has completed two projects for Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) to deploy and recover seabed receiver cables for its multi-transient electro-magnetic (MTEM) surveys.

The first project used Global Marine's specialized cable shipWave Sentinel to lay receiver cable on the seabed to record subsurface resistivity at predefined locations. The recordings were then transmitted to the vessel for quality control before being sent ashore for further processing and detailed study by PGS.

The second project used Global Marine's experience in mobilizing specialist equipment and installation teams on to a vessel for work in the Mediterranean.
