OSLO, Norway -- Petroleum Geo-Services ASA reports that there were no injuries from the June 24 fire in one of the auxiliary engines on the seismic vessel Atlantic Explorer, which was operating offshore Senja, Norway.
The fire was extinguished, and the vessel is under tow and retrieving streamers. The seismic equipment was not damaged. All evacuated personnel have now returned to the vessel and there were no reported injuries.
The vessel will be examined, and it should resume operations in two to three weeks.
