TRONDHEIM, Norway -- Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has been awarded a $10 million contract from a new customer to appraise a hydrocarbon prospect. The contract will begin in September.
EMGS has also been awarded several smaller contracts totaling $10 million by customers in Norway.
The company will use its Clearplay Evaluate service to evaluate the prospects. The data will be acquired using densely sampled, wide-azimuth 3D EM grids.
