OSLO, Norway –Wavefield Inseis ASA has agreed to charter the dual-streamer Akademik Shatskiy for one year from Sevmorneftegeofizika. The vessel will be used for 2D surveys and as a source vessel for wide-azimuth runs.
"We have a long standing relationship with SMNG and are very pleased to have the Shatskiy as part of our fleet," says Atle Jacobsen, CEO of Wavefield Inseis. "It gives us even more flexibility to enable us to capture additional market share in some key market areas."
