EMGS, Schlumberger reach marine electromagnetic exploration agreement

EMGS and Schlumberger have announced the intention to enter a cooperative agreement effective Jan. 3, 2012, to offer marine electromagnetic related processing, advanced modeling, and earth model building.

TRONDHEIM, Norway – EMGS and Schlumberger have announced the intention to enter a cooperative agreement effective Jan. 3, 2012, to offer marine electromagnetic related processing, advanced modeling, and earth model building.

The two companies also have entered a cross-license of patents agreement regarding CSEM acquisition.

At the same time, Schlumberger will withdraw its patent disputes in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and the European Patent Office.
