Schlumberger opens reservoir lab in China

Schlumberger has opened its Chengdu, China, Reservoir Laboratory.

CHENGDU, China – Schlumberger has opened its Chengdu, China, Reservoir Laboratory.

The 32,000-sq ft (2,973-sq m) facility has services ranging from field core acquisition to laboratory measurements, and including sample selection, rock testing, model calibration, and interpretation.

The Reservoir Laboratory is in close proximity to the Schlumberger operations facilities in Chengdu’s Gaoxin and Shuangliu districts, enabling the efficient transport of cores for analysis.
