Atlantic Guardian starts mid-Norway 3D seismic survey

EMGS says its seismic survey vessel Atlantic Guardian has started a new multi-client project in the Norwegian Sea.

TRONDHEIM, Norway – EMGS says its seismic survey vessel Atlantic Guardian has completed a multi-client project in the Hammerfest basin in the Norwegian Barents Sea.
The vessel acquired 3D electromagnetic data to complement existing data coverage in basin, which is relevant forNorway’s APA 2016 licensing round.
It has since started a new multi-client project in the Norwegian Sea, also covering an area relevant to upcoming licensing rounds.
Another EMGS vessel,BOA Thalassa, has completed a multi-client project offshore western India.
