TGS has completed a series of marine ocean-bottom node (OBN) surveys offshore Guyana.

HOUSTON TGS has completed a series of marine ocean-bottom node (OBN) surveys offshore Guyana. 

The final node recovery, at the start of December, concluded the three surveys commissioned by ExxonMobil Guyana

TGS acquired 2,400 sq km of OBN data over 410 days, with the acquisition process finishing 20 days ahead of schedule.

TGS deployed the company’s ZXPLR node technology.

ExxonMobil Wells awarded the company 12 Catch of the Week awards, a program that recognizes HSE achievements across its global operations.

In addition, TGS recovered 1.2 metric tons of marine debris, including discarded fishing equipment, plastics and other materials.
