OSLO, Norway  TGS has attracted funds for various new multiclient seismic surveys offshore southeast Asia.

The program, due to start toward the end of this year, covers six months of new 2D and 3D data acquisition, reprocessing more than 6,600 km of legacy 2D data and 300,000 sq km of 2D-cubed processing, tied together by a Facies Map Browser to enable fast-track exploration.

These projects will complement the company’s existing library across India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia and Timor-Leste, which comprise 18,450 km of 2D data, 70,237 sq km of 3D data and 1,940,030 sq km of 2D-cubed data.
