TGS extending Mavinas 3D coverage offshore Argentina

OSLO, Norway — TGS plans to acquire a new 3D multiclient survey over the Malvinas Basin offshore Argentina.

The Malvinas 3D Phase III campaign will cover a ~7,500-sq-km area, boosting TGS’ 3D library across the basin to 25,000 sq km.

Acquisition should begin by early 2024.
