Offshore staff
BERGEN, Norway — Petrobras has commissioned Shearwater GeoServices to perform an extensive deepwater ocean-bottom node (OBN) survey over the Grand Iara Project in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil.
The area covered will include the Berbigão and Surur fields and the shared reservoir of Atapu.
Work on the project should start early next year and should continue for about six months.
Shearwater will deploy nodes over a 1,309-sq-km area, alongside a 3x2 six-string omni-directional triple source.
