First-phase North Sea Pensacola site survey completed

LONDON – Fugro GB Marine has completed a geophysical site survey over the planned location of the Pensacola exploration well in the UK southern North Sea for Shell U.K. and partner Deltic Energy.

Data collection, over license P2252, started on Sept. 8 and concluded six days later.

Following analysis of results from this initial phase of the survey, a second geotechnical phase may follow later this year, involving acquisition of samples from the seabed.
