Offshore staff
MASSY, France – bp has awarded CGG three offshore seismic imaging projects.
Two are in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, and the other offshore Trinidad & Tobago.
All the programs will be under way during the current quarter, with cloud delivery of the data to follow by 4Q.
CGG’s Houston subsurface imaging center will employ compute-intensive data-driven proprietary algorithms such as time-lag full-waveform inversion and least-squares migration.
The results will support license renewal and development decisions.
