OSLO, Norway – PGS’ Ramform Titan is about to continue acquisition of the Campos Deepwater GeoStreamer X, a prefunded multi-client 3D seismic survey with multi-azimuth coverage.

This month the company will acquire an additional 8,400 sq km (3,243 sq mi) over the deepwater portion of the northern Campos basin.

The Ramform Titan will again be configured with 14 multi-sensor streamers, each 10.05-km (6.2-mi) long, which is said to be the largest spread ever towed offshore Brazil. This configuration minimizes the number of source points per square kilometer and reduces the number of acquisition days.

This survey will provide the first 3D seismic data over blocks offered in the upcoming 17th Bidding Round, now scheduled for October 2021.

The Campos Deepwater GeoStreamer X project targets open acreage offered in the 17th Bidding Round, presalt open acreage adjacent to Albacora and Marlim Leste fields, and areas acquired and under contract in the 14th Bidding Round.

When completed, the survey will cover about 14,900 sq km (5,753 sq mi).

Phase 1 full integrity imaging is expected to be available in 1Q 2021. This will provide final multi-azimuth products over open presalt acreage, including TTI Kirchhoff and RTM (45 Hz) PSDM products.

Shallow hazard high-resolution pre-stack time migration products will also be available, along with gravity and magnetic data for regional basin analysis and standard GeoStreamer field deliverables.

Fast track depth products from Phase 2 are expected to be available before the 17th Bidding Round.
