ASKER, Norway – TGS has completed an additional acquisition phase of the Santos basin 3D seismic survey offshore Brazil.
The survey area is south of some of the basin’s major discoveries and covers blocks offered recently in Rounds 15 and 16.
Acquisition of 17,500 sq km (6,757 sq mi) of the 23,000 sq km (8,880 sq mi) target area is now complete. TGS expects to make available full volume fast track data in August followed by final data in 2Q 2021.
