ASKER, NorwayTGS has completed reprocessing of a 21,631-sq km (8,352-sq mi) regional 2D seismic survey offshore Sakhalin Island in the Sea of Okhotsk, with the support of Russian partner DMNG.

First data has been issued to pre-funding clients and is now also available to all industry customers. The survey covers acreage said to be highly prospective.

It follows TGS’ 2D Phase 1 Clari-Fi broadband reprocessing of 18,970 sq km (7,324 sq mi) of data in 2019. The two packages combined should provide higher quality data for explorers and interpreters, the company said, assisting decision-making.
