TRONDHEIM, Norway – Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has signed a two-year acquisition contract with PEMEX.
The value of the contract is expected to be between $29.3 million and $73.3 million.
Mobilization is expected to start in early 3Q 2019.
The work program is in the Gulf of Mexico and consists of both shallow and deepwater surveys.
CEO Bjørn Petter Lindhom said: “... This demonstrates that PEMEX values 3D CSEM data as an important and complementary input in their exploration workflow...”
EMGS said this is its fourth largest contract.
