DNO says it is quickly moving to commercialize the Kjøttkake discovery.
DNO has started development concept studies for its recent Kjøttkake oil and gas discovery in the northern Norwegian North Sea, the company said in a results update.
Kjøttkake, in PL1182 S, was subsequently delineated through a horizontal sidetrack. DNO estimates 39 MMboe to 75 MMboe in Palaeocene injectite sandstones. The location is 27 km northwest of the Troll C platform and 44 km southwest of the Gjøa platform.
Later in the current quarter, the company will participate in the Vidsyn exploration well. And DNO as secured a rig to drill the Page prospect in the second half of the year on PL1086, following up on its 2024 Othello discovery.
Two other North Sea discoveries where the company is a partner, Ofelia/Kyrre and Cuvette, are nearing development decisions.
