ONE extends Petrofac’s duty holder status at North Sea Sean field

Oranje-Nassau Energie Resources Ltd. has renewed Petrofac’s duty holder support services contract at the Sean gas field in the UK southern North Sea.

LONDON – Oranje-Nassau Energie Resources Ltd. (ONE) has renewed Petrofac’s duty holder support services contract at the Sean gas field in the UK southern North Sea.

Under the agreement, valued at around $20 million, Petrofac will continue to provide operations and maintenance, engineering, training and asset management support.

ONE gained entry to UK offshore operations in 2014 through acquiring a 50% stake in, and Petrofac subsequently supported the transfer of operatorship of the facilities - which comprises a manned, bridge-linked wellhead and production platform, and a not normally manned installation.

The initial duty holder support services contract started in 2015.
