ASKER, Norway – Aibel has contracted PG Flow Solutions to supply a chemical injection package for the tie-in of the Dvalin field to the Heidrun platform in the Norwegian Sea.
The scope comprises an 8.5 x 3.8 x 3-m (28 x 12.5 x 9.8-ft) package that will be incorporated into the new M40 Module to be installed at the platform. The contract value is undisclosed.
“The package is technically complex due to very low minimum liquid flow rate, which makes it demanding from both a pump and monitoring perspective,” said Roy Norum, CEO of PG Flow Solutions.
The company will manage the program at its fabrication site in Sande, Vestfold, Norway, and aims to deliver the completed package to Aibel’s yard in Haugesund during 1Q 2018.
DEA Norge operates Dvalin. At Heidrun, the gas will be partly processed in a new module, before being transported through a new export pipeline to the Polarled trunkline and from there to the Nyhamna gas terminal.
