Statoil sanctions mini-ROV inspections at Gina Krog offshore Norway

STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil has awarded Stinger Technology and its partners a test pilot for mini-ROV structural inspections offshore Norway.

All the operations will be performed from the recently onstreamGina Krog platform without support vessels.

The program will combine existing proprietary MSS ROV technology with equipment developed especially for this application.
