HW unveils Ireland database
Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK --Consultants Hannon Westwood have developed the GMatrix Ireland database, providing details of 160 un-drilled prospects in Ireland's Atlantic basins.
The database was compiled in advance of Ireland's 2007 Porcupine Basin licensing round which opened on July 19, and which is due to close on December 18. On offer are 229 full blocks and three part-blocks.
GMatrix Ireland is based on Hannon Westwood's UK sector database model, and is intended to help license applicants focus on areas of prime interest, make targeted exploration data purchases, and rank and prioritize exploration and appraisal opportunities. The company plans to extend its coverage across the entire Irish continental shelf by the end of this year.
