Heerema completes 11,000-ton float-over installation off Nigeria

LEIDEN, The Netherlands – Heerema Marine Contractors has completed installation of the GX deck for Mobil Producing Nigeria at its East Area Project.
The 11,000-ton (9,979-metric-ton) deck was placed on a jacket previously installed by HMC'sThialf crane vessel as the second phase of the EPC1b project.
The installation was completed on schedule plus two days for inclement weather.
