Lamprell to build second LeTourneau jackup for Scorpion in UAE

LeTourneau Technologies Inc. has sold a Super 116E Class jackup rig kit for delivery by the end of 2008 to Lamprell Energy Ltd. The rig is scheduled for construction at Lamprell's Hamriyah facility, UAE, for Scorpion Offshore Ltd.

HOUSTON –LeTourneau Technologies Inc. has sold a Super 116E Class jackup rig kit for delivery by the end of 2008 to Lamprell Energy Ltd. The rig is scheduled for construction at Lamprell's Hamriyah facility, UAE, for Scorpion Offshore Ltd.

The rig is designed to drill in up to 350 ft (107 m) of water in moderate environments, and can be outfitted to handle high temperature/high pressure wells.
