CPOC contracts Dockwise for float-over installation

Carigali-PTTEPI Operation Co. has awarded Dockwise Ltd. a $25- million to $35-million contract for float-over and installation of a module offshore in the Gulf of Thailand.

HAMILTON, Bermuda –Carigali-PTTEPI Operation Co. has awarded Dockwise Ltd. a $25- million to $35-million contract for float-over and installation of a module offshore in the Gulf of Thailand.
The 19,000 metric ton (20,944 ton) topside will be transported and installed using Dockwise'sBlack Marlin semisubmersible transport vessel.
"Our recent acquisition of Offshore Kinematics Inc. and Ocean Dynamics Llc has contributed to obtaining this contract," André Goedée, Dockwise CEO, says. "The contract award illustrates the possible advantages of joining OKI and ODL's experience in the installation of offshore modules with our existing assets."
