BP contracts Magnus modules

ABERDEEN, UK --BP has awarded a $940,000 rental contract to Ferguson Modular for a 16-person accommodation complex for the Magnus platform.
The complex, to be manufactured at Ferguson's facility in Inverurie, Scotland, will comprise four 10.3 meter (33.8 ft) A60-rated DNV 2.7-1 modules, linked and stacked. They will feature single beds rather than the industry-standard bunk beds.
The company previously supplied modules for BP in the UK North Sea at the Harding and Schiehallion projects.
