OSLO -- Subsequent to its agreement with Total UK for subsea installation on Laggan and Tormore fields, FMC has executed a Letter of Intent with Grenland Group for Grenland to deliver two templates and two manifolds for the project.
Construction is planned to begin this August with delivery set for 1Q 2012. Total value of the contract, says Grenland, is about NOK 120 million ($19 million) and weight of the structures will be about 1,600 metric tons (1,764 tons).
The location is on the UK continental shelf 125 km (78 mi) northwest of the Shetland Islands in 600 m (1,968 ft) water depth in blocks 206/1A and 205/5a.
